ASM presents the orange Hydrasynth Explorer, a globally limited special edition of 888 units of the popular mini synth.

In a compact and portable housing (battery-operated if needed), the Hydrasynth Explorer features 8-voice sound generation from the Hydrasynth Keyboard and Desktop. The smaller PolyTouch® keyboard with 37 keys offers the same polyphonic aftertouch as the larger sibling models.

Despite its small size, it provides excellent playability and expressiveness. The extremely flexible yet easy-to-use sound engine impresses with its renowned WaveScan oscillators, Mutator waveshaping, a flexible dual-filter section, a 32-slot modulation matrix, and two insert effects and two master effects. Additionally, CV/GATE outputs are included, allowing for easy integration of the Hydrasynth Explorer into a modular system. The features are rounded off with USB-MIDI and full-size MIDI-DIN connections, eliminating the need to juggle adapter cables, which is common with mini synths. A clever detail is that the Hydrasynth Explorer can also be powered by 8x AA batteries, making it ideal for mobile use on the go.
