- Model: ELEKTRON-DIGITAKT-II
Unleash your creativity with the Digitakt II, a powerful sampling workstation designed to get your ideas out of your head fast. Elektron’s wildly popular Digitakt is back and Elektron have packed it to the brim with extended features and a updated layout.
What's the difference between Digitakt and Digitakt II?
Performance Features:
The Digitakt II offers additional performance features like an extended 128-step sequencer which is double the MK 1's 64. Individual time scale per track, and parameter locks, providing users with more flexibility and control over their compositions. Adlib with ease by jumping into track mode whilst the song is playing.
Stereo:
All 16 tracks of the Digitakt II can play stereo samples. This is a huge jump over the original where you only had access to mono samples, enjoy true stereo samples and add extra depth to your ideas.
Sound Manipulation:
While both devices offer various filters and effects for sound manipulation, the Digitakt II introduces new selectable SRC (audio) machines and FLTR machines, expanding the sonic palette and offering more options for shaping and transforming sound.
Memory and Storage:
The Digitakt II boasts enhanced processing power and memory, with 400MB of sample memory and 20GB Drive storage a 6x and then 20x boost when compared to the original Digitakt. This allows for a larger sample library and more complex compositions letting you the musician go completely bananas with your creativity.
Button per fuction re-design:
FX, keyboard, song mode and performing options are now a one button click away, allowing you to get to the action fast, no more learning function commands, straight to the fun bits. Every one of the 16 tracks is now selectable as a Mono, Stereo or MIDI track, maybe you just have one other piece of hardware you wanted to trigger, that's 7 extra tracks you can use now! The limitation of fixed status of tracks is no more, have the Digitakt II fit your needs.
